Bad luck strikes while leading Modified Mafia Tour event at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
On Saturday afternoon, Austin Holcombe once again joined the Modified Mafia Tour at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) for their $3,000-to-win show.
Topping the 24-car field in qualifying, Holcombe started the 30-lap main event from the front-row and took the lead on the initial start. Holcombe led the first seven laps before a lap car spun in front of him and Holcombe was unable to avoid. Austin recorded a 16th-place DNF.
