Austin Holcombe tackles Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome
Sporting a special wrap for the occasion, Austin Holcombe returned to the The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Thursday afternoon for the Gateway Dirt Nationals.
With 32 Modifieds checked in for his preliminary night, Holcombe qualified 12th-quickest in his group and fell back two spots in his heat race. Starting towards the back of a B-Main, Austin was unable to make the 20-lap prelim feature.
On Saturday, Austin was caught up in a wreck during his qualifier which prevented him from a chance at the finale.
