Austin Holcombe fifth in Hell Tour stop at Peoria Speedway
After dealing with trailer issues the past few days, Austin Holcombe and his team finally made their trip to the Midwest on Wednesday afternoon and joined the DIRTcar Summit Modified Nationals at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway on Thursday.
Finishing fourth in his heat race, Holcombe started 12th in the 25-lap main event and stormed to a Top-5 finish in fifth.
Friday's event at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) was postponed due to rain.
Holcombe wrapped up his first week at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday where he earned a last chance race victory and finished 11th in the A-Main.
