Austin Holcombe pulls triple duty during World Short Track Championship in Charlotte

Kicking off the weekend on Saturday after rain pushed back the event, Austin Holcombe competed in the UMP Modifieds, Crate Modifieds, and Thunder Bombers divisions in the World Short Track Championship.

Holcombe finished fifth in his UMP Modified and Thunder Bomber heat races, but was able to pick up the win in his Crate Modified heat race. With main events slated for Sunday, Holcombe finished 22nd in the UMP Modified feature and then did not make the feature event in the Thunder Bombers. Austin recorded in his best run in his Crate Modified as he raced to a fourth-place finish in the 15-lap feature.
