Misfortune stirkes in Modified Mafia Tour event at County Line Raceway
With the Modified Mafia Tour back at his home track, Austin Holcombe was one of 27 Mod entries at County Line Raceway (Elm City, N.C.) on Saturday evening.
Laying down the quickest lap in qualifying, Holcombe earned the outside pole in the pole shuffle for the $2,500-to-win main event. While battling through lapped traffic, Austin made contact with another competitor that sent him spinning which resulted in a 17th-place finish.
